Size Guide

Choosing the right size for a formal gown or occasion outfit can feel uncertain, especially when every silhouette is cut differently. This guide explains how Zorameno presents sizing information, how to take your measurements accurately, and how to use each product page to make a confident selection.

How Sizing Works on Zorameno

Most Zorameno garments use letter sizes ranging from S to 3XL. However, the fit and measurements associated with each letter vary by style. A gown with a sculpted bodice and mermaid flare will sit differently on your body than a relaxed wide-leg pant set, even if both are labeled the same size.

Because of this, the size chart printed on each individual product page is the most reliable reference for that specific item. If a product page does not include a chart, the listed size options still apply, but you should compare your measurements against similar styles that do provide detailed data.

Body Measurements vs. Garment Measurements

When a Zorameno size chart lists numbers such as "Bust 35–37" for a size M, those figures represent the range of body measurements the garment is designed to accommodate—not the physical width of the fabric itself. Your body measurement should fall within the stated range for the best fit.

Garment measurements (sometimes called finished product measurements) describe the actual dimensions of the sewn piece. These are rarely listed on Zorameno product pages, so always interpret the numbers you see as body measurement targets.

Taking Your Measurements

Use a soft, flexible measuring tape. Keep it snug against your skin without pulling tight or allowing it to twist. Wear the undergarments you plan to use with the outfit, as these can affect your measurements by up to an inch.

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level across your back and parallel to the floor.
  • Waist: Find your natural waistline—the narrowest point of your torso, typically just above your navel—and measure around it without cinching.
  • Hip: Stand with feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips and seat.

Record each measurement in inches. If you are between two numbers, note both for comparison against the product chart.

Reading the Product Page Size Chart

On product pages that include a chart, locate the row where your bust, waist, and hip measurements all fall within the listed ranges. If your measurements span two sizes—for example, your bust fits a size L but your waist fits a size M—prioritize the measurement most relevant to the garment's construction. A fitted bodice gown depends more on bust and waist; a flowing wide-leg pant set depends more on hip and waist.

Some product descriptions include fit notes such as "slim fit through the bust and waist" or "fits true to size." These are style-specific guidance and should not be generalized across other items in the collection.

Measurement Tolerance

Zorameno garments are measured by hand, and the product pages note that actual dimensions may vary by approximately 0.4 to 1.2 inches from the listed figures. This is normal for structured evening wear and does not indicate a defect. If your body measurement sits at the very edge of a size range, consider how close you want the fit to be.

When You Are Between Sizes

There is no universal rule for sizing up or down at Zorameno because each style is cut differently. Some structured gowns with boned bodices may feel restrictive if too small, while draped or ruched pieces can be more forgiving. Review the specific fit description on the product page, consider whether you prefer a close or relaxed silhouette, and compare your measurements carefully before deciding.
